Description
An arborist was by yesterday and noted that a large tree on the edge of conservation land across from the driveway at 301 Holbrook Rd. is hollow and with the right (wrong storm) will fall. With hurricane season upon us I hope this can be addressed soon.

Hi Kenny,
The Forestry Department indicates that the land in question is privately owned. The owner of record is:
Ownership
Name CHU KIN PING & DAVID CHU
Address 349 ADAMS ST
MILTON, MA 02186
The city code enforcement officer could make a site visit in the event that tree in question poses a danger to public property.

So, am I correct in saying that, this determination was based on the code enforcement officer's assessment of the city's property line and the private property's line. Do private property lines always come out to the street if there are no sidewalks? I will distribute this correspondence to the neighboring houses so that everyone is aware of this determination.
Could you please send me a carbon copy of the letter sent to the property owner?
Thank you,

We would like to confirm where the city line actually is. I am sure Kevin Coughlin would be more than happy to assist. Has anyone actually come to the site?
If an arborist did not randomly go look at the tree when he was called in to cut another tree this issue never would have come up. In this situation being proactive could prevent potential danger.
There really is no need at this point for Nat'l Grid to come down, but if they should need to cut a limb they would potentially be going onto the property owners property and making changes.

Hi Kristen, Waiting to hear back from Kevin Coughlin.
Has a copy of the letter been mailed yet?
Did the code enforcement office actually come to the site?
Thank you in advance for your response to my questions.
