17 Arlington Street Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
Off of West Squantum St, onto the one way, Arlington St. you'll get to the first stop sign and see the first of a series of pot holes that line the street all the way to the corner of Arlington and Newport Ave. I've included photos of the pot holes that I saw.
  • 127 Newbury Ave Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
Looks like the temporary fencing fell again and this time narrowly missing the parked car near it.
  • W 4th St Boston, Massachusetts - South End
At the intersection of West 4th Street (which turns into East Berkeley Street) and Albany Street I constantly witness near accidents and actual accidents where cars in the far left lane continue to drive forward onto East Berkeley Street even though the signs clearly posted indicate left lane for left turn only. Not only is this a hazard for all drivers but pedestrians as well. I can't completely blame the drivers because while it is their fault for missing/ignoring the posted signage, the lane markers on the ground are misleading. The marked lanes make it appear that going straight instead of taking a left turn is allowed.

2-18 N Central Ave Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
Looks like the winter's aftermath is starting to show. There are a few new potholes to show for it.
  • 140 Newbury Ave Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
The construction fence at the old soccer field entrance behind North Quincy high school had fallen over. I'm inclined to believe that it was due to the storm earlier in the week. As you can see from the photo that I uploaded it is completely blocking the sidewalk for any pedestrians.
  • 146-158 Arlington St Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy

There's a drainage issue at the intersection of N. Central Ave and Arlington St. Whenever it rains a large volume of water pools at this corner. During the winter I can see this freezing over and becoming a hazard. The photo uploaded does not fully represent how bad this corner gets.

There is also no handicap ramp at this location so wheelchair bound citizens must travel in the streets or go out of the way by at least a block.

  • 222-262 Newport Ave Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
The sidewalk on Newport Ave., between N. Central Ave and Elmwood Ave. Are all damaged from uprooted trees. It doesn't matter as much to me because I don't have mobility issues, but I saw a wheelchair bound man riding dangerously in traffic to avoid the sidewalk.
It also can be hazardous to walk at night due to lack of lighting to expose the areas that are uprooted providing for a major trip hazard.
  • 35 Common St Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
At night the traffic light pattern at common street and centre street takes extremely long to change. So much so that drivers often run the red light thinking that something is malfunctioning rather than wait for the light to change.
While waiting at the light you can see the traffic lights at the intersection of common and Copeland go through at least two full cycles which leads drivers to think that the one at common and centre is malfunctioning.
  • 138 Portland St Boston, Massachusetts - Central
The parking meter compartment has been left open.
  • 263-267 Hancock St Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
There is a public staircase directly across the street from the Applebee's restaurant on Hancock St. The staircase leads down to the MBTA parking lot and is currently overgrown with tall weeds that you have to walk through to use the staircase. In the past it has been maintained, but has been neglected this spring/summer.
  • 64 Kendall St Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
There has been an abandoned Hannaford shopping cart and a TV (against the fence) left in an open area between 63 And 55 Kendall Street. It has been there for quite some time.
