For some reason dumpers like this street. The dumpers think no one sees them but we do. There's a camera there also which either doesn't work, a fake, or no one cares

If you call call OPD, and tell them it's "in progress," they can can/should send an officer out. Tell them you are willing to make a formal complaint. If you don't get response from them, call the City council person from that area.

IG great job. Currently the only enforcement for illegal dumping is going though the law crops. As far as OPD go's they do not respond to all the 911 calls. Take a look at an Oakland crime map thing are out of control.

Scott Hugo (the Law Corps attorney assigned to Hoover Foster) said their staff is down to only 4 attorneys for the whole city, and he's fielding every case from Lawsuit serious to frivolous. Law Corps are definitely the right people to report it to, but they are pathetically understaffed and backlogged. This the same with abandoned auto 6 officers for the 1500 to 1600 cars reported per month. The City needs to start prioritizing fixing these problems. They need to raise the fines for illegal dumping to the point where it is $$$ painful plus added community service.

If the City does not go after these people, in the long term, illegal dumping will go until perpetuity and the cost of clean-up will keep adding up.

The city needs to do something, right now it's not working. I'm all for high fines and a few hundred hours of community service, cleaning up other dumpsites

I get so furious at these dumpers I'm not sure what I'd do if I caught them in the act. Good for you!!
As a decorator I use haulers all the time. I'd like very much to know who this jerk is.
I always insist they bring the dump receipt back to me.
People who hire haulers should be educated in this to avoid dumping.
